Many American Girl doll fans know that yesterday was the debut of the new Girl of the year for 2015! I was lucky enough to go to her debut, and there was a lot of people there anticipating her. I was able to purchase Grace with her ears pierced (you have to get those done separate and they also cost an extra $16 but she does have her own earring set!), her welcome accessories, and a Boston tee for my dolls (since that is the store I went to and I am trying to get a collection of shirts from different stores.) Pictures of her collection at the store will be posted on my Instagram, so make sure to check those out. So here are some pictures of Grace the doll! I will post some pictures of her welcome accessories and the free goodies I got at the store for her debut in a different post, so stay tune for that soon!
Sp here she is! She has blue eyes, freckles, brown hair with beautiful highlights, and the Josefina Mold. It seems that her eyebrows are bushier than my other dolls and her freckles look different, but it might just be her face mold. She is also wearing the beret from her accessories, which we will get a closer look at later.
Here is her little charm bracelet, which is included with her! It is made out of medal, and some people say it is difficult to get one, but for me it wasn't (maybe I'm just used to hooking on tiny doll jewelry.)
It has a little french bulldog, a red suitcase, a macaroon (which are a delicious french treat!), an Eiffel Tower, a post card that says Bonjour (which means Good Day! in french. It is their greeting), and a heart that says Paris. Overall I am a big fan of this bracelet!
Her shoes are something I want in my size! They are fuzzy little boots! They feel like wool and have an adorable bow on them, as you can see in the picture above. They have absolutely no velcro on them and they just slip on! I really like the feel of them and they are my favorite shoes for a GOTY to date!
A close up of her shirt! It say "Paris, Je T'aime", which means Paris, I love you. It is sparkly on the pink lines, and has an Eiffel tower on it. In the background it has a mint green Parisian apartment (at least I think that is what it is!) The shirt is short sleeved and has a Grace tag on one of the sleeves.
I forgot to get a detailed picture of the skirt but the skirt is pink and also feels like wool. It has a little black bow, that in my opinion is kind of like imitation leather. It also has a Grace tag in the back. Grace's meet outfit is simple, which is good, and the pieces can be easily used for mixing and matching!
And that is Grace! She is a beautiful doll and I recommend her! She cost $120 but I feel she is worth the price. I love her collection a lot and want to get many of the things in her collection! I hope you enjoyed this little review. And I will talk to you later!
